Took some time to load up a 4-year-old project in Unreal Engine 5.5.4 over the weekend to see how it holds up.
Got to say, I was genuinely impressed by the huge difference in how translucency and subsurface scattering look now versus 4 years ago. The results feel so much more natural and believable.
